I believe there was a system software upgrade. I, too, had the system for over 6 years and only replaced the batteries when they normally died, months at a time.
Now I can't get 3 days from a set of batteries
The only response from Netamo support was for me to send the thermostat unit and the relay back to them in France, pay € 44 to have it repaired, and then be responsible for any customs charges applicable when it would arrive back in Ireland. What a joke!
I will have to find an alternative unit, such as HIVE or EMBER or CLIMOTE now....

I put new batteries in my thermostat 2 weeks ago & now told to replace them. It would not function & I’ve had to put more new batteries in.
Why are batteries running out so soon?
