Valve child safety lock?

Is there really no child safety lock on the smart valve? I set the temperature on my phone, and a toddler can go over and manually set it to a dangerous temperature? Did no one think to disable manual intervention somehow? So this device isn't very smart, and neither is its manufacturer.
