Doorbell does not connect with the Netatmo app.

I have tried several times to reset it. By following steps.

Remove the Video Doorbell from the wall mounting plate.
Plug your Doorbell to a powered Micro USB cable. ...
Wait for the LED to turn off or solid blue.
Press the reset button until the LED is solid green

The doorbell is connected and chime works.

But cannot connect to the Netatmo app.

Can you please please help.

Thank you.

Hello, I also have the same problems. Bell cannot be registered. Green light, no white light. Reset and USB connection didn't help. I have the indoor camera on the same network without any problems. Greetings Dirk

Exactly same issue! Now after utilising the factory reset (last resort) the functionality on the unit that one chimed no longer chimes. When starting up after being off/ booting up sequence the solid green moving onto glowing green is followed by glowing red/orange colour. Meaning that’s my second purchase of the doorbell is now rendered completely useless.

So so annoyed with this product.

Same issue for me! Ordered due to recommendation of a neighbor, I assumed it will work with actual App and hardware. But only the chime rings when pressing the doorbell button. No idea how to connect the item with the app on my Android phone. It searches and searches and searches ... w/o any success. Now, I asked the support to help. We'll see what they propose to do. Anybody here who could connect to the Netatmo via its app? Please give clear instruction how you managed to connect.

    Thanks in advance.

    Friends!

I've got an instruction from the Netatmo support team (Ali) and today, I had time for a try. Let's summarize:

In the end, I did as follows:

    1. Remove the doorbell from the wall.
    2. Plug in a mini-USB cable and connect the other end with a PC interface to let at least a bit power into the system!
    3. Press the Reset “button”. LED switches from blinking green to white. This takes a long time! Wait for 3 minutes!
    4. Unplug the USB cable and place the doorbell on the wall, i.e., connect the internal power plug with the doorbell.
    5. LED starts flickering (could be violet), then gets blinking green. This takes a long time, at least 3 minutes!
    6. Press the bell button. Your chime should ring. The doorbell also rings.
    7. Press the bell button again. LED switches to white (kind of flickering, definitely not stable bright white!). Wait for a few seconds.
    8. Start your App and follow the instructions, which might differ from iPhone to Android.

In fact, that was it! Now it works. I will emphasize that you must use a 2,4 GHz WLAN only, no mixed and - of course - no exclusive 5 GHz WLAN. And: Stay tuned! Keep cool. Repeat beginning with step #1 in case of errors. That means, remove the doorbell from the wall and start resetting with the USB cable. I did this at least 10 times! Perform every step with a huge amount of time, don't hurry! Now it works. Hope it would help you, too.

I tried solving this for 2 days, until i figured out why the white led never appear. This could be a memory card issue. Tried with a new memory card, and Presto! White led came after factory reboot.

Btw, the old memory card was working fine, before the power outage for few days.
