The camera went off-line three weeks ago. I’ve tried all network suggested remedies without success. when Reconnecting the power The light does not turn on.
Same issue here. 2 outfoor cameras and doorbell went ofgline exactly the same time. Doorbell has since reconnected to the wifi but isn't showing a picture. The cameras don't seem to power up, so no network connection and can't access the QR

Same problem here. Outdoor Cam suddenly stopped working one week ago. No live view, no floodlight working, QR codes not working. Power cycled a couple of times without any success.
Cam is connected to Wifi and I can watch recordings from SD card for the time before it stopped working.
Opened a support ticket … waiting for reply.

Exact same problem since Wednesday this week. The camera is working, just a black screen. Tried re adding, rebooting, qr codes and lights not responding?? Could this be a firmware bug? I’m on iOS 17.5.1 on iPhone, with an eero pro router

Same here. Have wasted hours to get the camera to work after it went off-line. After it stopped working, I deleted the camera from my connected devices and tried to re-install with the app but the app cannot find the camera anymore. Very frustrating and disappointing. Netatmo, what's going on?? Who do I contact? You better start helping your users before we all switch to a different brand.

It seems as though this is either a software bug or a timed break in netatmos side. I’ve been in touch with netatmo and they’ve basically said it’s time to buy a new one. Seems funny that we’ve all had the same experience at the same time though. Can everyone tell me what routers they have? Mine is an eero pro and an iPhone. If my camera is truly broken, there is no way I’ll be purchasing another from them. They’re awful

I am based in Europe (Netherlands). Have a Ziggo router (from my ISP) and iPhone. Everything was fine until about 1-1.5 months ago. My camera is 7 yrs old.

Same problem here. My Netatmo Presence Camera is only a few weeks old. Live video just disappeared without any reason. Tried to reconnect, repower, tried to start WiFi-Setup again, unplugged Router, used the Security-app for Android and for iOS to re-setup, tried both QR-codes several times. Nothing works! Lights are only lighting after reconnecting power of the camera for some seconds. No further reaction. I already created a ticket, support recommends to try the WiFi-setup, but I already tried several times. I will ask for a warranty replacement.

I’m convinced this is a software bug that’s bricked a lot of cameras. I’ve spoken to support and they’ve given me the usually troubleshooting steps. They’ve said if that doesn’t work that I’ll have to purchase a new one! Literally just 2 years old, they were very kind to offer me 10% off a new one. Erm no thanks, it’s ridiculous. I’m going to get the Eve outdoor camera. I’ve never received so little support or care from netatmo

Are they not acknowledging that there's a problem with their software?? If so, I do not expect anything to change (given that they cannot even give an ETA on a solution) - I am done with Netatmo. This will not be the first time that poor service will end up killing a business!

Clearly not. They’re an absolute joke sometimes no acknowledging problems. I like to say this is the first time but it’s not. It’s been an expensive mistake on my part, one I won’t make again!

This is very strange. I have Netatmo presence. It not recognise QR code. I was trying to see logs stored on card. But there is encrypted linux stored on SD. SDcard is new - from original replacement. There is no way to see hardware problems or software error. only buy new one. It is very bad idea to buy from this company. Any firmware update in some OTA mode? - no. Is there any firmware from netatmo that i can put on SD card in that situation. NO

Tried to power-cycle a couple of time : everytime it's back on again the floodlight lights up for a few second, then nothing more. The app shows its online and the SD card is right, but no livestream available, no response when trying to turn on the floodlight, and no response to QR codes ...
... I'll buy another from another brand, I fed up with Netamo poor products.

Guess what? Another camera of mine has bitten the dust! Exactly the same issues as previous one! Just stops showing live stream! Camera is powered on and connected to WiFi. Just will not work! I’ve had this problem with one of my other cameras that I’ve now replaced.

Exactly the same problem here. I have 2 cameras front and back. Back suddenly stopped recording about 3 weeks ago. Have tried all the usual steps to reconnect but nothing works, just a brief flash of the lights to confirm it still has power and thats it. Front camera is absolutely fine (for now at least). This must be down to some sort of update as there no way so many cameras would have the same problem at the same time.

I’ve ended up purchasing another netatmo outdoor camera from Amazon as they were a lot cheaper. Installed it, worked fine for 4 weeks and has now failed again. Same problem now on 3 of the cameras I’ve owned. Reached out for support as this one is well in warranty, speaking to a manager
I also find it interesting that there’s been no comment from Netatmo on this post but it seems as though other posts are getting support?? Getting bored of spending the money and tirelessly having to troubleshoot these cameras

On 7th December my Netatmo Presence stopped working after 6 years. Coincidentally it was during Storm Darragh. It lights up when switching it on but there is no recognition of the QR code and no image. It seems as though the optical component of the camera has failed. This is contrary to the advertising blurb stating that it is a robust security camera built to last.
Technical support has told me that the problem is hardware failure which cannot be repaired. I have been offered a 25% discount code off my next purchase even though there is a 25% discount code already available (and even a 30% Christmas discount code available).
Poor response and an obvious lack of technical knowledge.
I might give them a second chance (but maybe not).
As is mentioned elsewhere on this blog there is no response from Netatmo to this common problem.

If I remove the SD card the APP indicates the SD removal corretly. Changing Wlan settings does not work. With the old SD card I can still stream old records.
Bought another one. After several days the same problem with a diconnection appeared several times. SW version 3.22.0.
A remedy for the old camera - slow reformat the SD card in a computer, put it back and restart the CAM. Very close to the router (like 3 meters)so the signal is full. Restart wit QR ant it works OK again fir several days indoors.
I believe this is a SW problem. It worked flawlesly for 6 years and now this troubles. Looks like the creator of the SW is upset somehow while we are not able to do anything anymore here in EU. Expectable ending, unfortunetelly.
