Home assistant and application Control

Good morning,


I'm trying to connect my Control application to Home Assistant but I don't have any data in my netamo account on the web.

I can only see the security items but not the ones I have in the home+control app.

Therefore, I cannot import them to home assistant.

Could you help me?

    Hello,

    Maybe Home Assistant didn't ask for your consents to access all of your devices

    Could you please try the following : 

    • connect to https://home.netatmo.com/ (you also can do it with the Netatmo native apps)
    • go to Parameters > My account > Third-party applications
    • go to Home Assistant and click "Revoke access"
    • redo the link in Home Assistant between your devices and their service

    As it's a third-party service using our APIs, we are not linked to them or their developments. If it continues to fail, you must ask directly the question to their community

    Thanks for this.
    The problem is coming from the Netamo webapp as I don't see my products.
    There is a difference between the webapp and my Iphone app.
    The house is the same as I've tried to change the name and it changed in both places.

    Hello Julien,

    First, can you confirm you use the same Netatmo account for both your devices for Home + Control/Security ?

    If yes, can you write me on contact-api@netatmo.com and send me : 

    • a screenshot of your installation in Home + Control app / Home + Security app
    • a screenshot of your installation in the webapp
    • the email address of the Netatmo account you use

    I'll check on my side if I see something strange in backoffice

    Hello Leslie,

    I need some information regarding the API. I cannot find any info regarding the scenarios, how can I add it  to my Home Assistant? Aldo with the same switch, with different Firmware code, with the one that has Firmware 61 It does not receive the Power entity, with the one that have firmware 66 it receive it.

    Could you suggest how to fix that.

    Could you please provide a feedback? Also, I'm facing a big latency from when I switch on a Switch phisically to when HA change it's status on.

    Hello Aldo,

    HA uses the API endpoints from our documentation (https://dev.netatmo.com/apidocumentation/control#getscenarios). But as it's a 3rd party service, I can't bring help when it deals with adding/using them in their app

    Concerning the latency on state changes (on/off), it's normal. They perform regular GET calls to the /homestatus endpoint to retrieve the state of the devices. In the native Home + Control app it's managed by webhooks (that's why state changes and instantaneously reported) but this feature is not allowed to 3rd party apps

    • what is the reference or cloud type of the switch ? 
    • is that something that only works in Home + Control and not HA ? 
    • what is "power entity" ?
