WatchStation app removal from App Store due to recent API changes

I just removed my app WatchStation from the App Store due the recent changes in the Netatmo API, maintaining the application has become increasingly challenging.
WatchStation has been designed to seamlessly synchronize token data between your iPhone and Apple Watch using iCloud, including support for Apple Watch complications, so every part is independent and can request for data to the api, for example you can have your iPhone powered off and still recieve updates in your watch.

However, the recent API changes have led to numerous user complaints. Users have reported persistent issues, logouts and data refresh stop because token invalidation, that have made it difficult to keep the app functional. I had implemented since the begining the token refresh system, but synchronizing across multiple devices that are independent and sometimes can be offline is challenging, this has become unstable and unpredictable. Sometimes works for days and sometimes for half a day. I’m very sad Netatmo took this decision knowing that it would impact production apps.

Due to these ongoing problems, which I am currently unable to resolve, I have decided to halt the sale of WatchStation for now. Best regards

Interestingly, although I was having problems with regular log outs, it has been very stable for me in the last month or so…
Not sure what’s changed but perhaps you might take another look at Watchstation as it is a great app
