Good morning. After resetting my modem, the camera disconnected and I can no longer connect it. If I unplug the power, when I plug it back in, the camera does not flash, the light is fixed. It does not flash even if I frame the QR code. When I start the Security application, the application does not see the camera or the available wi-fi networks. What could have happened? The camera appears to be connected to my wi-fi network and the micro sd card is not broken because I tried it in my drone.

If the problem is related to authentication, it seems to be a known issue caused by Netatmo.
Recently, Netatmo officials informed our developers that they have temporarily blocked connections from Synology NAS due to too many requests from Synology NAS.
Our developers are currently working with Netatmo to resolve this issue. Unfortunately, there is not much we can do until this block is lifted. We can only recommend that you wait until Netatmo lifts this block.

Connecting Netatmo Presence with Synology surveillance station is not possible. Dear Netatmo Team, it looks that the user gets blocked by Netatmo if the connection to the APP comes too frequently. Please find a solution.

I think I have the same problem. I've had an electrical failure. since then I can't connect with my camera. Fixed light and no response to the QR code. Not using Synology.

Same here. Had an electricity out one day and from that onwards no connection to the camera anymore.
Changed the card, but I’m not sure if this was the problem. No picture, no feedback on the QAr code, no feedback from netatmo.
Starting to look for another camera. Any suggestions?

I recently changed my sd-card. I re-installed my camera. It shows as being connected but when I try to activate. I get " fault occured try again later". I tried evrrything by the book from rebooting the server, camera to fiddling with the sd-card.

My Micro SD card has been replaced. After that it worked for months. Now it is again not recognized or displayed as defective. So the camera is unusable, although I don't really need the SD card at all, because I use it with HomeKit Secure Video and don't want any local data. However, the use of the camera without an SD card is apparently not supported by Netatmo. Without a working SD card, the camera is just garbage.
Who knows how to format the SD card? Which file format is expected by Netatmo? When I format it (FAT32, NTFS, exFAT) it doesn't show me any errors. So it seems to be the camera, the firmware, app or maybe the file format.
The QR codes are not recognized by the camera for me either.

On 21st October I had a power failure. After the power failure was resolved some days later I could not restart or reset my Netatmo outdoor camera. The wifi has not changed (other wifi devices are fine). All the white LEDs on the camera stay on. It doesn't respond either to the setup QR code or the reset QR code. Is there and email to Netatmo customer support?
Netatmo support advised putting in a new high endurance micro SD 32Gb card in. Remove the bottom panel to get to it. It took a while to load but it works again. Apparently SD cards only last 2-3 years with heavy use.

According to the answer from support team, it is often due to the SD card if the QR code is not recognized and neither the setup mode nor a factory reset can be reached. Even if the SD card is actually not necessary when using HomeKit Secure Video, this is required by Netatmo. The QR code is therefore not recognized by the camera if the card is missing or defective. So you should buy a new card here for 14.99 EUR, but be careful: Free shipping is only available from 99.00 EUR!
