I have the same problem. The Temperature module stopped working after a very hot day two days ago. New batteries do not help. Other outdoor modules are working fine.
Thank for a response.

The same thing happened to me,the external module has stopped
sendind data, the rest works correctly.I have restarted, changed the batteries but it doesn’t work, the green ligth comes on for correct coupling but it doesn’t send data.
The first sensor lasted 10 years, but this one failed after 3 years

I have found the outdoor temperature module to be very hard on Batterys. Within four months the kit supplied AAA batteries corroded damaging the circuit board below the batteries. This is likely not repairable and the unit will appear to be dead. I got my module swapped out under warranty. The new module powers up but I cannot get it to connect to the homebase unit.
Perhaps you guys have got some corrosion from the batteries as well.
My ultimate advice is to store the outdoor module upside down so any battery acid will likely travel away from the circuit board

My sensor has no corrosion inside the batteries, and I have it installed inside a Davis dish box, which is not the problem.
Waiting for response from technical service

I bougth the station as soon as it came on the market and I have already changed two external sensors and two modules of the anemometer.
The rain gauge and the main module of the indoor station for now they have survived since they came on the market

My outdoor module has stopped responding as well. The unit is less than a year old. The batteries also corroded the inside of the unit. I would like a new unit as it’s still under warranty. I an unable to find any way to contact this company for a replacement.

I am assuming you purchased it through this company? If you didn’t, you need to go to the retailer that you got it from. It will only be under warranty if it is the original Batterys the unit came with. You can tell this because they are Duracell batteries with ‘not for retail sale’ written on them

I purchased it from Amazon. They were the original batteries as you describe.

I contacted Amazon. They are gracious enough to take the unit back and refund my money even thought it was well beyond their return window. Why Netatmo would expect a vendor to remedy an error made by the maufacturer is inexplicable.
