Netatmo Webhooks are very unstable
I have several Netatmo cameras, both indoor and outside. They are all connected to Home Assistant, and I have established properly webhook connections using my Dev account.
The result is that sometimes I get webhook events, sometimes not. Sometimes I get all events, and at other times, noting at all. I haven't been able to find any pattern in this. It seems completely random. Everything is updated to the most resent versions. In the past week, I only get events everytime one of the cameras disconnect and reconnect, which can happen now and then. But it's been a week or so since I got any human detection events.
I need som advise on how to debug this.

Hey Leslie,
Are there already some update regarding the problems with the API and the doorbell not working or with a huge delay? (see my message above).
Thnx for the feedback!
Greets,
Steven
Hello,
The teams just warned me that they pushed a fix to improve latency and for the come back of the incoming_call event
I can test it only tomorrow, could you please tell me if you still have problems on your side ?

Hi Leslie,
I just tested the doorbell intergration with Homey and it is working faster than effer!
Thanx for this to you and your co-workers.
Greetings,
Steven
Hello Leslie,
I think I have a problem with the webhook because right now the switch and cover state update happen one time per minute (more or less from my test).
So I think that I am not receiving the webhook.
Just in case: do you have a test that I can make to see if the webhook works?
Thank you very much in advance
Regards
Matteo
Hi Matteo,
I'm not sure what you mean by "switch and cover state update" <= do you talk about the snapshots for the Doorbell ?
If yes, it seems to correctly work on my side and I had another positive feedbacks about this following the latest fixes (we pushed a new one just yesterday)
Unfortunately we only have an internal monitoring tool but nothing to make tests. Generally, if possible, I advise to use an endpoint generated via https://webhook.site/ and try if it correctly works with it

Hello,
probably I am wrong but I think that the webhoow notify also events of change state for cover (percentage of opening/closing of the cover) and lights (on/off).
Am I wrong?
Is there documentation about what webhook notify?
Regards
Matteo
Hi Matteo,
We only provide webhooks for the Security range devices. I invite you to check the "Webhooks" section of the documentation to know what is possible to get : https://dev.netatmo.com/apidocumentation/security
We don't provide webhooks for shutters/lights states. It's only possible to get them via a /homestatus call to the API (https://dev.netatmo.com/apidocumentation/control#homestatus)
Have a good day,
