Issues with Old HomeID Showing in Netatmo API Responses

f.giraud

I’ve been working on small integrations using the Netatmo API, for example with Domoticz and other platforms, for quite some time. Recently, I noticed something strange when accessing the Netatmo API documentation (https://dev.netatmo.com/apidocumentation/control).
I’m seeing an old homeID that I had linked to a different account for a home that no longer exists. This is causing parts of the API responses to show outdated data. Here’s an example of what I see:

id: "xxxxxxxxxxxxzxzxzxzxzxxz"
name: "dead house xxxx"
altitude: 422
coordinates: [
    xx.141765,
    xx.429794
]
country: "IT"
timezone: "Europe/Rome"

    Hello,

I confirm this Home is still existing and is linked to the same end-user account

When a Home is empty of devices, it can take up to several weeks before its total deletion from the Cloud

    Have a good day,

I also have a 'empty Home' in my account this is from an early installation when I some how ended up with a different home for the Thermostat and weather station.

But to work correctly they must be in the same Home, so I changed that

But the Empty Home is after some years still in my cloud, I would like to see a option to Delete that Home.

    Kind regards.
