The camera stopped recording to HSV and sending notifications from HomeKit after updating to iOS 18. I tried resetting and adding again, it didn't help. Anyone else having the same problem?
Thanks for the warning. Yep, feels like not many manufacturers out there offering HKSV for outdoor cameras with floodlights so wiser to hold on and see what comes out.

(I posted this earlier but it's not shown up in the thread, so here it is again). I have no new Presence firmware and my Apple devices are all still on the public 18.* releases. Today, after a few days of leaving the Presence in Stream only, then changing it to Stream and Record yesterday, I powered it down until Home said it was offline and only then turned it back on again. A few minutes later, it started recording to HKSV. I think everyone's experience is likely to be different but thought I should share this in case it helps kick someone else's Presence back into recording.

Me again. I power cycled by 10th time (but last time 1 week ago) and 3 out of 4 cameras are now recording on HKSV. I can live with this for now…

After update my apple devices to ios18.1 public beta, remove cameras (Netatmo and eufy) from apple home and native apps, power off the cameras and wait a few minutes, add again to native apps and home app and now all cameras works recording events.

Put me down as someone with troubles recording. Multiple cameras in different households. No recordings. I’m contemplating stop using Netatmo all together.

please, again, everyone put pressure to netatmo and write to the support at this link and explain the issue reporting this forum thread link
Both of my cameras had started working again as reported earlier in this thread, but one has since failed to record over HKSV as before. I wish Netatmo would come clean about this issue and let us know clearly what the status is - coupled with an intermittent hardware problem in a camera that's just over two years old that they're not interested in helping with, my confidence is severely dented in the company. Replying to someone earlier here, I did try an Eve Outdoor Cam, but I also found that it was not as good as Netatmo's offering, both in terms of going offline too often and filling up with water when it rained. I think I'm going to replace my cameras with normal floodlights when they completely fail and wire up some POE cameras using Synology's or Ubiquiti's hardware...

I've gone from 2 out of 3 cameras working to 0 out of 3. The usual prolonged restart didn't work yesterday; they came back up but showed a series of offline/online Homekit notifications. They remained online in the Netatmo app throughout so definitely not a network issue.
I feel as this issue has been ongoing for almost a month that Netatmo could at least provide us with a more detailed response at this stage.

I got 1 of my cameras working for a few days. I ended up deleting all my recordings on HomeKit and it has stopped recording again. Curious if that did something or it stopped recording on its own after a few days

From Netatmo suporte:
“ Dear customer,
Thank you for your message. My name is Ali and I will be the one handling your request.
Indeed since the update of the IOS18, the architecture has changed. The IOS app priorize the IPv6, which is not handled correctly from our side.
Our engineer are working on this, and has found a fixed, which is in test.
For the moment, you can disabled the IPv6 attribution from your LAN router, which should solve the behavior.”

I hope they are right, and there is no other bug because in my environment, ipv6 is disabled on both wan and lan

Hi @Viktor, I have IPv6 disabled too, and have also had problems recording to HKSV for the last few weeks. So IPv6 isn't the full story, but hopefully that's not a problem in itself.
But, all Apple Home functionality is hosted and managed by the active Home hub, i.e. a HomePod, HomePod Mini or Apple TV. These all run a flavour of tvOS (in the case of HomePods, a fork of tvOS). So I'd expect changes in tvOS 18 to be the cause of Netatmo's problems, not iOS 18. (As unusual as it sounds, you could run an Apple Home without an iPhone.)
Hopefully we'll get some more information from Netatmo as the investigation continues...

Be careful of turning off ipv6 on your LAN if you have devices using the Matter protocol on your network, I believe it is required for them to operate.

It started recording events at 9:30 a.m. EST and stopped again around 11. I have IPv6 disabled on the WAN and LAN on my UDM SE, however I still can browse IPv6 sites. I'm not sure how to completely disable IPv6.

So after a few days of 'camera offline' it's ben recording for a few days, but the motion sensors isn't triggering anything and the light isn't coming on when it's supposed to. I've removed and re-added the camera and re-setup all the automations etc. but we're not there yet. Firmware is still on 3.20, so if there have been any changes, they're server/service-side.

Suddenly it works, but only if monitoring is deactivated in the Netatmo security app. But that can't be the solution either.

One camera works, one still doesn't. Please Netatmo, if you're reading this, give us an update on HKSV. Currently your marketing materials claiming these cameras support HomeKit Secure Video is false - I'd be demanding a refund if both my cameras weren't already over two years old.

After managing to get one of my cameras to start recording to HKSV, only to find the other has now stopped, I've now updated everything to 18.1 (including the AppleTV). The result is that neither record to HKSV. Given the complete lack of response from Netatmo, I'm going to move away from Netatmo products, and cease recommending them to my friends and colleagues. Given the amount of time and money I've wasted on their products, I'm really not happy.

Similar experience here. Going back and forth with 3 out of 4 outdoor cameras working to 2 working. Latest is I updated my Apple TV and HomePod to 18.1 a few days ago hoping to get all 4 working and gave them a power reset. Outcome was cero out of 4 recording on HKSV. Waited one day and gave another power cycle and I’m back to 3 out of 4 recording. I think I’ll stop fiddling with them till I hear back from Netatmo.

I have the same problems. I have tried all things mentioned in the thread, restarted, factory reset, route restart, wifi settings... Nothing helps, and it is very frustrating. I will try to use the support link posted earlier, and hope Netatmo can find a solution soon.

Same here, I had one out of two cameras working with HomeKit on iOS 18.0.1
Updated to iOS 18.1 and none are working now.
These cameras are advertising HomeKit secure video, that’s why I paid the premium price
Netatmo need to sort this out asap in the 3 years I’ve had these cameras, HomeKit has worked maybe 25% of the time
Can we get an update please Netatmo?

Try giving them a power reset if not already done. My 4 cameras also did not work after 18.1 and only started after power cycling the cameras, waiting till you get the camera offline notification on Apple home before powering up again. I had to do this twice and now I’ve got 3 out of 4 recoding on HKSV.

Thx Nacho, it works. All cameras are recording.
I have never experienced a bad support like here from Netatmo. I have cameras of over €1500 in use here and Netatmo Support is dead. The next Home Kit devices will be from another manufacturer.
