Control a smart radiator valve according to the temperature of a smart indoor module from the same room
Hello,
The temperature measured by the smart radiator valve is often influenced by the temperature of the radiator nearby. The “true temperature” calibration option is not a good solution, because the temperature measured by the smart valve is correct when the radiator is cold, but the temperature is falsely influenced when the radiator is hot (heat radiation of the radiator, valve position near a wall, hot water return pipe bellow the valve,…).
A solution would be to deport the temperature sensor of the valve with a wire, or to control the smart radiator valve with a smart indoor temperature module from the same room.
→ Would it be possible to control the smart valve according to the temperature of a smart indoor temperature module of the same room (instead of its internal sensor).
This functionality would give a real advantage to Netatmo product range compared to competition smart valve, to finely adjust the valve according to the real room temperature.

I am also looking for such function.
This feature is desperately needed. I have a long, glass-enclosed room that doesn't heat evenly. In an emergency, I had to move my thermostat into this room because I broke the connection to the usual thermostat location. With the thermostat set away from the radiator, the room was kept at a great temperature.
It would be great if I could put a temperature sensor away from the radiator.
Hi, how you set the thermostati inside that room? i cannot use it like this because if the temperature drop belo below the setpoint the valve open, but if i reach the setpoint, the thermostat doesnt close the valve.
If i leave just the 2 valve in that room and in the app, everythings goes fine, so no hardware problem
Yes, please! I have the Smart Thermostats and the Indoor modules. Still, the thermostat is consistently 2-3 degrees higher than the indoor module, which forces me to manually increase the temperature on the thermostat to match the requested room temperature.
It would be great if the thermostat could use the temperature reading from the indoor module to regulate the heating.
