Doorbell sound notification kills headphone sound-playback
Every time my doorbell rings, my phone rings. When I have my earbuds or headphones connected to my phone (Google Pixel 9 Pro XL), the playback of the sounds is interrupted. That makes sense as the doorbell takes priority, like a phone call does. However, after the bell is done ringing, there's no way to get my headphones and earbuds to pick up where they left. Whether it's YouTube, Spotify or Skype, nothing passes any sound on to my headphones anymore. The connection with my phone is still there. The only two solutiosn I have found that work, are restarting my phone - which is very annoying, as you can imagine, especially when you're in a work meeting on Skype/Zoom/Teams etc. - and disabling sound notifications from the doorbell. That's not an option as I miss the door being rung a ton when I do that.
It even happens when my earbuds/headphones are not connected to my phone. Like, when I turn off my earbuds, put them in their case and just go about my day and the doorbell rings, there's no way to get them to play any sounds from my phone once I connect them to my phone again. So disconnecting/reconnecting is not an option. It has something to do with the Security app. It seems almost like the doorbell being rung activated a persisting overlay of sound alertness that mutes every other sound that's sent to headphones.
Is there a fix?

There is a small workaround: kill the app!
I'm very annoyed by this circumstance myself and got aware that killing the app via the App Info menu with Force Stop will help. You need to start the app again after this to get new alarms/notifications.
