Main Module freeze
I always have more or less the same problem. It works fine for a few weeks, then the main unit suddenly freezes (doesn't respond to button presses) and the app says something like ‘Disconnected, have you changed the Wi-Fi password?’. I unplug it, restart it, then it works fine again for a few weeks. It seems that it has only become more frequent with the latest firmware update.

Dame problem,I have a station V1
I have this problem also. It powers down and I have to take the power plug out and in again. It may work for 2-3 days then it dies.
I think it has to do with a bad batch of power supply.
I need my Netatmo to work flawlessly since it will be used to know when to activate my pool pump during freeze. If I cant trust this sensor then I have to send it back.
Please fix this asap!
My is a V3 Station. And i don't think it's a bad power supply. Tried 3 different USB ones (Apple, Anker etc.), It work for around a week sometimes 2 and then it freeze again. It all started with the last update from Netatmo for the weather station
I have a V4 indoor module that cannot connect to the phone app since April 2024. The firmware version is shown as "null" which makes me think there was an upgrade failure. Surprisingly, it uploads the indoor data so that I can see graphs. Every once in a while it appears briefly on the app, but not for long. I have no idea what to try next.
Strangely, right after posting, my module made one of it's brief appearances! I now know that the firmware version is "204" and the outdoor module is "5.3". It operated for 2 hours at most. One thing that transpired during this time is that I picked up the module and moved it slightly.
After reading the comment above about the bad power supply I used a different power supply and the indoor module has been stable since, as where it wouldn't last a day before that.
I was too early. Even with the new power supply the indoor module froze :-(. Highly annoying.
I removed the apple homekit integration. The module has been stable since.
Turning off HomeKit is not an option. I'd rather sell the weather station and buy something else with HomeKit.
Any update on this topic?
I have the same issue, as a matter of fact, 2 out of 3 main modules are freezing.
The first (v2 / 204) and oldest one worked fine for many years with no issues at all
the second one (v4 / 204; replaced the first one in its same positions) started freezing after approx 1 3/4 yrs, just as described above (main module freezes completely and can be restarted only by unplugging). It is happening randomly (from what I can tell at least), and including trying different power modules etc... I never found out what's wrong. Netatmo service did not find a solution and also declined to replace it after 2 yrs...
The 3rd one (also v4 / 204) was again replacing positions from 2nd one, and showed freezing already after 2 or 3 months. I meanwhile moved positions, but no impact on 5 different locations.
(In addition, it permanently looses contact to the outdoor module :-( )
It's really frustrating, and I am very close to move to another system.
No response from Netatmo at all, problem still persist ! It´s more than annoying !
I have made my decision! No more products from Netatmo!
As soon as I find a good alternative that can also do HomeKit, the crap will be sold / thrown in the bin
We experience the same issues. Don’t know exactly when it started but for quite some time now (probably last 2 to 3 months) the main module just freezes and only starts working again after unplugging and then replugging it. Module is a v5 with latest firmware 204. There are three indoor modules and one outdoor module connected (all firmware 53).
Any help is much appreciated. Especially any response from Netatmo!
