Low battery frequently

pasqualeguida86
Hello, I have four thermostatic valves that were installed two years ago. One of them has started indicating a low battery, even after replacing the batteries multiple times (using the same pack as the other valves). Additionally, after replacing the batteries, it frequently asks for recalibration. Is there anything I can do, or is the valve defective?

    Hello,

During the last month, we have frequently received "Low Battery" notifications. For example, I changed the battery last week, but I am now receiving low battery warnings again. Please support me on this issue.

    Thank you.

Have been running system for years, now one valve chews through the batteries in a week, then reports calibration error. Need some help, all screws are super tight, and nothing changed. Previously flawless for years

I had the same problem: valve notifies “Low batteries” even with fresh new batteries. I have other valves using the same batteries without error.
I solved the issue by putting a strip of aluminum foil between the batteries and the cover.

I'm having exactly the same issue. Installed eight valves and one of them has now gone through four sets of batteries. None of the others have needed a battery change. I've used the same batteries as the others, and different brands of batteries and it definitely seems to be the valve that's that fault.

I guess no one has a solution? Has anyone managed to get a replacement valve?

I have the same issue. New valves out of the box. Any solution or a suggestion on how to directly contact Netatmo?
