My Netatmo relay keeps disconnecting from my Wifi without changes made in my network

esther.boix

Last Saturday, the relay disconnected itself from my home network, and I haven't been able to reconnect it since. I initially thought it might be faulty, despite having bought it only three months ago, so I purchased another set of a relay and an intelligent thermostat.

However, the new set is also experiencing issues with the Wi-Fi configuration. The relay suddenly stops connecting without any changes being made to the Wi-Fi settings. During the configuration process, everything goes smoothly until we reach the point of connecting to the network. The process ends with a "Congratulations" message, but then the relay turns off, and a "Configure network" message appears in my app.

I have tried everything suggested on the Netatmo help website and have also submitted an incident ticket (#3282054), but I have yet to receive a response.

My network settings remain unchanged since Thursday, when everything was working properly:

  • Security: WPA2-PSK
  • Encryption: AES
  • Channel: 11
  • Signal Strength: Full (at the relay's location)

I have also tried:

  • Using the app on Android (uninstalled and reinstalled)
  • Rebooting the relay

Still, no connection.

What should I do? I need my heater to work!

Have you verified that your password is correct?

Yes, the password is correct and the wifi network is 2.4Ghz.

I do all the setup process but in the end it prompts the message "Netatmo realy is unreachable" and it's not disconnected as the light is on.

I have two Netatmo modulating thermostats, and one is stable while the other loses its Wi-Fi signal every 20 minutes.
Nothing has changed in the network. Anyone have a suggestion?

I have exactly the same issue. No changes to my network settings except regular firmware upgrades.
I'm using mesh system TP-Link Deco, and what I noticed is that when only one access point is turned on the thermostat is working fine (usually), but once I turn on the second AP, the thermostat disconnects.
I was trying to reconfigure it multiple times, but it didn't help.
No issues with other in my network.

Adding word appand as suggested on Play Market.
