Smart Modulating Thermostat is not heating up the water to the right temperature and my apartment is cold

I’ve installed the Smart Modulating Thermostat on my open therm water heater. I have floor heating. The thermostat is not heating the water to a high enough temperature and it's not letting the boiler on for long enough. I have it for a week and it never got to the desired temperature (22 Celsius) through the night. My apartment is cold, and it would be better without the thermostat installed.

I have radiators and seem to have a similar problem with a Smart modulating thermostat. The boiler only heats the water to 30°C and shuts down untill it reaches 22°C. When it’s freezing outside this is less of an issue because then the water gets hotter, but now, when its’s 10°C outside, it’s like the modulating thermostat is not asking for a high enough water temperature.

I changed the ‘heating curve’ from automatic (was 0,8) to 2,5. Now it seems to work a lot better: instead of not reaching the set temperature for almost the whole day, it gets there in 0,5h or so.
Heating curve can be found in the settings of the Modulating Thermostat.
I just hope it doesn’t go back to Automatic by itself.
