Batteries lasted in the thermostat about a year when we first got it but now we have to change them every few weeks.

    Same here.

For a bit more than a month now, the batteries have been dying really fast

I have the same problem and so do many others. It is something that Netatmo needs to fix.

    Same here.
This is already my third unit: the first one started with the screen rotation not working, then the screen failed completely.
I bought another one - same story, rotation stopped working and the batteries started to die in less than a week.
I opened a ticket with Netatmo and they sent me a replacement, even though the warranty has expired. Guess what? The new one also started with the rotation issue and now has the same battery problem.
I’m done with Netatmo. This product just has no quality. Time to move on to another brand.

Yes, it always starts with the rotation getting stuck, and then it begins to drain the batteries. Poor design, defective product, or an update intended to block it. I’ve switched to TADO. Bye, Netatmo! I see you never!

Dear Technical Office, The batteries are dead. I replaced them, and the thermostat
started working again, but the screen no longer rotates, and the new batteries
died within a week. I reset the thermostat by unplugging it from the power supply. Once plugged back in, restarted wifi, the problem was not solved: the screen
no longer rotates (The wall installed)
I await your response. Thank you for your cooperation and attention. Best regards

I thought my battery problem was the screen which failed. I replaced the screen but the batteries still only lasted 2 weeks. I've now dumped the batteries and connected the thermostat battery terminals to a 4.5v mains supply.
