Moved into a house with Netatmo products, thermostat not working/won't connect?
We've recently purchased a house running Netatmo thermostats and bridges/relay points. The thermostat shows a dark grey screen that has never displayed a character or anything intelligible for weeks. We've recently sought to get it working now the temperature is cooling and cannot get it to connect. All troubleshooting/wifi settings have been done correctly and the device cannot be found. It looks like the thermostat itself is not working (the screen appears blown/saturated and is otherwise non responsive). Apple Home is also not finding anything when scanning th QR on the relay. The relay occasionally displays a glowing white light.
We do not want to speculate over £100 on a new thermostat, furthermore, having limited confidence in the brand if it seems to be failing after what cannot be more than a few years. I've tried contacting support/raising tickets but having no luck at all.

I've got exactly the same issue...
I have also the same issue, anyone has a solution?
Netatmo responded with the below which has actually solved it for me. Despite the thermostat not having a working screen it seems still to fulfil its function of reading temperature and getting the relay to go on and off. We can see the temperature now from our phones.
Unhelpfully, they’re asking for €44 to fix a faulty product of theirs but given the phone gives a display I don’t feel a need for a working screen on the thermostat.
Try this:
Uninstall the Energy application from the smartphone (or tablet). No personal data is deleted during this operation.
Reset the Relay:
Switch on the Relay using the AC adaptor or the boiler adaptor. The LED should flash 5 times then go out.
Press the Relay button for 20 seconds. During the first 15 seconds the LED will flash slowly. Keep pressing until the LED stops flashing, then flashes 5 times quickly. Only the Wi-Fi and HomeKit connection settings are deleted during this operation.
Restart the smartphone (or tablet), reinstall the Energy application from the official application store (Google Play on Android or App Store on iOS) and log in with the credentials
Thanks Daniel - will try that.
Hi Daniel, I’m having the same issue, I moved to a new house and can’t complete the setup (it keeps asking me for a code even though I completed the reset. Was the same thing happening to you? Thanks
