FTP settings won’t load on iOS app with most recent version of Home+Security app
Last night all ftp uploads from the doorbell camera to the synology NAS stopped with no warning or error on the synology side. The Home+Security app (ver. 6.15.0) now won’t load ftp settings - it just spins endlessly. Same for Dropbox btw.
I can’t do any further troubeshooting if I can’t check the settings. Nothing has changed on the synology side.
I have: done a hard reboot on the phone, logged out and in on the app, deleted/redownloaded the app and redone settings. Also cross-checked on another phone here on the same network.
This did not coincide with an app update so I’m somewhat baffled.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. A fix even moreso. :D

Same problem on my side also user maintenance does not give access.
I am having the same issues with many screens no longer loading!
The following screens won’t load:
Does anyone know what is going on?
I’ve opened a ticket for the issue. Ticket 3350400
No reply yet but it’s good to know that this is happening to others. Thanks for reporting. Makes it much more likely that this is a bug.
I was messing around and I think I may have temporary workaround (at least it works on my iPhone 16)!
If you enter the settings screen and after you see the loading circle, lock your phone and wait a few seconds. When you unlock it, the screen will be shown correctly. It doesn’t work all the time and can be a bit hit or miss, and some times you have to leave it locked for a little longer for it to work. Definitely a bit flaky, but if you need to make some changes at least you can.
Hey guy.brown - nice catch! That worked on my ancient SE 2020. Hilarious that I now have multiple ftp file paths - one for each recording in my synology file system. That is sorted now that I was able to correct the file path. Thanks!😊
Hi, I'm still phasing this problem and the workaround didn't work. Any help???
