i have the same problem and this is my second outdoor unit. expensive system and poor reliability.
It's my second one too, I think it should work longer than about 1 year. Warranty?
I have two netatmo wheather stations. One at home and one in our summer cottage. The one at home works fine. But both the outdoor and the rain gauge modules don,t function after I have changed the batteries. I have tried all your suggestions but they still don,t work. Furhtermore there is no green light in the outdoor module after plugin of the new batteries. Thus I must give up. But I want to know wether the malfunction is due to the hardware before I will invest in new items. I therefore want to send the items to you so you can test wether there is a malfuntion in the hardware. Could you pleas tell me where to send the items.??????
I just ordered a new one after 9 years working perfectly.
My issue the same, which is corrosion on the 2 bottom copper plates.
don't clean with any liquid or you will kill the unit completely. I used a screwdriver to scratch.
In time it got worse and at last I had to change batteries at ever shorter intervals, say every 2-3 weeks.
I have the same problem it started in August after firmware v53, also my friend have the same issue. new battery and full signal coverage it shows. temp shows some days and some days it does not show for few hours
two months opened topic and no relevant answer. I have similar problem. Outdoor module, FW 53 full battery, full signal and no temperature and humidity data from last 4 days. I tried change battery, change location ( close to the main station ). What next? Buy a new one? Or wait for miracle?

I bought the weather station a few years ago and have had this problem several times. I have sanded the contact points a few times in the past, which solved the issue, but that no longer seems to help.
Only the air pressure is still being displayed. Unless the air pressure is not measured by this module, I suspect that the temperature sensor is defective.
I am therefore considering purchasing a new outdoor module, eventually together with the outdoor shield.
The new outdoor module should work with the existing base station. Does anyone here have experience with this?
Or is it better to purchase a completely new set?
