Hi, since about a week ago our front camera has shown the above message in the app. Wifi is good and it it has a newish high quality SD card.  I can see it in app and reboot it from app, change settings etc but it won't show a live picture or save clips when person is seen. Back garden camera is fine.

    I have exactly the same issue, I put in a new SD card, still get the same generic error message. Did you get it solved in the meantime? How is it possible to get a more detailed explanation for the error?

    Netatmo support told me to bin it and gave a code for discount on new one. But I've decided to switch to another brand because had problems with a second brand new camera and didn't want the hassle. Good product when it works though!

    Thanks for your feedback. I tried to remove the ossible humidity with a hairdryer and put some oil for electrical contacts.  But nothing... I will get in touch with them

    I was getting this on and off too, sometimes several times a day but it always clears itself if I wait a while. I have two Netatmo Presence floodlight cameras and they both exhibit the same issue every now and again. My neighbour also has the same camera to which I have been granted access and when my cameras throw up this error, so does theirs, making me suspect some kind of server access error. WiFi around our house is fine (Mesh).  Even when I temporarily can't view live picture or clips, the cameras still send notifications when an event is detected and I can turn the lamp on/off via the App so they are working fine, just that the App can't view them. Over the last week or so the problem seems to have gone away.

    I got an update on this topic.  Netatmo gave me the following response: 'After verification, it appears that your device is defective and irreparable, and it is no longer covered by the warranty. Therefore, we are unable to take it in charge.  However, to thank you for your trust, I am pleased to offer you an exceptional 25% discount code'.  This is pretty disappointing since the camera just crossed the 2 years warranty coverage, and I got pretty much all Netamo products installed at home. 

    I informed that in that case I would progressively migrate to another brand which is cheaper and more reliable (I had issues already with other Netamo products like the Thermostat which I had to repurchase twice, another presence camera, as well as the indoors camera which just died).  Despite this, they refused to do anything more.  I'm sharing their final response here: 'I would like to inform you that there are certain guidelines that we must follow in situations such as this. As previously mentioned, the 25% discount is the best we can offer you. We understand that this may not bring you full satisfaction and thank you for your understanding in this regard.'
