Video Doorbell recordings unavailable in Netatmo Security App

Since March 12th at around 18:00, recordings from my Netatmo Video Doorbell are no longer accessible in the Netatmo Security app. Attempting to view any doorbell event returns Error code -1100.

Additionally, FTP backup to my NAS has also stopped working for the same period. The videos appear to be physically stored on the micro-SD card, but a metadata sync failure with Netatmo servers (ongoing since last Friday) seems to be preventing both playback and FTP backup.

This suggests the backup chain may be ordered as:

  • micro-SD → Netatmo servers → FTP backup

rather than the expected:

  • micro-SD → FTP backup (independently of Netatmo servers)

If confirmed, this is a significant architectural concern, as a cloud sync failure should not block local and FTP backup functionality. This issue appears related to the following community-reported problem: Video previews unavailable in Netatmo Security App.
