I get no outdoor temperature readings, I can se the outdoor module in manage my home the module is powered and the wireless signal is fine why don’t I get readings?
It’s working again, I suspect it’s a missing connection to a server at Netatmo that sometimes cause problems

Netatmo has made it really hard to open the outdoor module. I had to remake a tool that reached the screws. When open I soldered two suspicious spots (a small metallic cylinder in the middle of the circuit board) and just like that it's working again. I had nothing to lose because I had already ordered a replacement.

I have the very same issue! Both homes, the outdoor unit shows no data.
Says, change battery or move closer. I've done this, but nothing happens. Need fixing!

Same problem! Support suggested kind of bullshit advices like use rice and put outdoor module in the dark room (!!!). My outdoor module was outside just 1 month and couldn’t join the station any more. Obviously there is big quality problems with devices.

I am adding a comment here instead of starting a new post. I believe the problems I am seeing with my outdoor module is the same as described here.
A few months ago I noticed that the outdoor temperature I saw in the app could not be correct, and upon checking the trend I saw that on several occasions there was no datapoints for both humidity and temperature for longer periods of time (days). The app still showed the most recent datapoint.
The outdoor device showed good batterylevel and signalstrength when checking the device information. I took the device inside and after a few hours I started getting readings again. Device was left inside for about a month and then put back outside. It functioned well for a few weeks before it showed the same problem as mentioned in the start, device is connected to the base, battery and signalstrength is good, but I get no datapoints for temperature or humidity. Took the device inside again and it now gives readings.
Is this the same issue as described with an image of resoldered connection points? Can the device be opened using regular tools?
