New Access Point Netatmo Can't Connect

I switched from an ASUS GT AXE-11000 access point to an ASUS BQ16 pro access point. The Netatmo was happily connected to the 11000 on a blended 2.4 and 5 g mesh network. When I switched to the BQ16 I created the same mesh network with 2.4 and 5 g bands. The Netatmo could not see the mesh band. I then created a separate 2.4 g band with WPA/WPA2 personal and AES security. The wifi 7 on that band is turned off. The Netatmo still cannot see any wifi networks when I try to connect. I am wondering if the Netatmo main unit has somehow failed even though it boots up and I can get it to the flashing blue light.

I put in a ticket in with Netatmo on March 30 support but they haven't responded I am hoping someone on this forum might be able to provide some help.
