Weather station fails to download firmware again and again and won't start

When I turn on my weather station it attempts to download new firmware and disconnects after 1-2 mins and says it needs to restart the installation. It will not start/operate. The same issue in another post was resolved by connecting the station to a 2.4Ghz network, however I am connected to a 2.4GHz network and still have the same issue.
