Netatmo Presence Shows Black Screen

Hi, 

One of my two Netatmo Presence Outdoor stopped sending videos all of a sudden. It's properly connected to a 2.4GHz network with 39Mbit/s, it also automatically downloaded the latest firmware after it stopped working, but all I see is a black screen. When I restart the camera it blinks, so it's not a power issue. I restarted the router several times. What can I do?

    I am having similar issue… Even reconnecting the camera to the house didnt fix the issue. There is no video broadcasting. Only the device itself is shown… what can I do?

    Same problem.

    Contacted the Netatmo support. The answer was; According to what you mentioned, your device does seem to be defective. If you purchased the product from a reseller, please contact them
    directly to report the incident. 
    I did contact the reseller.

    Today I got a new camera from the seller.

    Thank you for contacting Netatmo customer service. I will be happy to assist you with your request.  I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. 
     
    It appears that the SD card in your camera is faulty and therefore needs to be replaced. If the camera is still under warranty, we can provide you with a code to order a new SD card free of charge.
     
    Please provide us with a copy of the purchase invoice.

    I have already inserted two brand new SD cards but the picture is not getting any better and the support is no longer responding. :-(

    The image is currently not available again, regardless of the SD card. Unfortunately, I have still not received a reply from the support team. It's very sad that such an expensive device stops working after 24 months and the support team or someone responsible here in the help section doesn't reply.

    I have exactly the same issue. First, one camera died a week ago. I contacted support, they said it was defective and since it's out of warranty the only they offered me is 10% discount, lol... Today my second camera died the same way. I'm pretty sure it's due to the latest update - both cameras dying at the same time is very unlikely. Probably will avoid their products, and suggest others reading this too...

    Dear all, I've been on a long vacation, so sorry for solving this issue this late. I contacted Netatmo support. The camera was broken; I got a new one from the vendor.

    Thank you for contacting Netatmo Customer Service.

    According to the analysis of the technical adta, your device does seem to be defective. The optical filter is defective, the camera will need to be replaced.
     
    As you purchased the product from a reseller, please contact them directly to report the incident and request an exchange.
