Rain gauge plastic deteriorated and cracked
The plastic of my Netatmo rain gauge has deteriorated, especially in the battery holder compartment screw mounts. The screw mounts have cracked and no amount of Gorilla Glue or Gorilla tape will allow the battery compartment to seal properly. As a result, the rain gauge is defunct.
Is there a replacement policy in which Netatmo allows registered users to replace their faulty units at some discount. I don't feel that it is entirely the user's responsibility to buy a new unit to replace one which failed in normal usage.

Using Tiger Tape will prevent water leakage, and if the broken parts are not in pieces, you can put the parts together and tape them together to prevent water leakage.
