Hello,
I've been having massive problems since updating the camera. The camera switches itself off and on again several times an hour. This happens both in the Security app and in the Apple Home app.
I have already disconnected the camera from the power supply several times and reconnected it after a few seconds. I have also reset the IP settings for the camera in the router. Unfortunately without success.
Before the update, I couldn't watch the recordings in Apple Home Video Secure. This works again.
I still have a camera on version v3.20.0. I used to have these problems there too, but the problem went away on its own after a few days and everything has worked since then.
How can this error be rectified?

Latest firmware is not good, i use mainly apple home app, i only use security app to see recorded footages..
Now with the latest firmware update security app activates notifications and cannot be turned off, the only way to turn the notifications off is to delete the security app itself, turning off the notification thingy on the iphone settings dont help.. my iphone is now a doorbell chime
Unfortunately I also have problems with the outdoor camera since v3.22!
Cannot install a new camera with v3.22 ...is not found!
I then switched off the power & my existing camera with v3.22 was also no longer found after switching on the main power!

I try to help my son. He has 2 outdoor camera, a doorbell and 2 indoor camera, which are disconnecting and connecting frequently. This problem started 1 - 2 months ago.
Hello, after the current update, my camera w/s no longer delivers a picture/video and the light can no longer be switched on. I set the camera to factory settings and reinstalled it. The error could not be fixed. All three other cameras are running fine.
Hey, I have problems since some weeks that i do not get any video at the night, the infrared light works, I have cleaned the lens, but the camera no longer records the newspaper discharger between 02:00 a.m. and 03:00 a.m.
The reliability of the camera has become even worse with the update than before. 50% of the events are simply not recorded, the livestream is very delayed and often not available at all (Netatmo server not available appears as an error message). The product is simply ridiculous in its current state and does not even come close to fulfilling its tasks. I have already opened a ticket but the problem could not be solved. This was definitely my last Netatmo product.
My camera has lost its IR and Floodlight functionality - which makes it useless at night.
This is devastating - and I can't find anywhere I can contact the support team ?

Are you working on a fix for the many reported issues? When will this be available as the cameras are currently useless.

Team, whatever the firmware tried to fix, it has bricked one of my Netatmo Presence cameras. The camera is unable to reset (red QR code is not recognised as if the camera does not work), after any reset the camera at HomeKit goes to OFF, and the messages in the app are first 'defective SD card' and ends with 'insufficient SD card space'. That can't be true since I have tried many SD cards, and some of them coming from other Netatmo Presence cameras that were running perfectly. What has happened ?
Please tell me Netatmo are listening to their customers and working to resolve this.
Hi, my outdoor camera is not working! I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it. The camera light does not turn on.
I can see the video feed with Apple Home app, but in the Security app I get the error that the connection with the doorbell is lost.
Both QR codes are not recognized. Neither for product setup nor for factory reset (red). The floodlight just doesn't start flashing when I hold the codes in front of it. Tried it with the codes in the app and on paper.
Only if I select the room in the app under Settings and then the camera, I can select the restart via the 3 points (ellipsis), the floodlight flashes once briefly but then remains off. The same thing happens when I temporarily shut them down. The QR codes are still not recognized, so the camera cannot be set up in the app.
Only adding the camera with the HomeKit setup code works without error messages. However, the camera image is not displayed in the Apple Home app or the Netatmo Security app.
Also the manual triggering of the home alarm (which is supported by the outdoor camera model) is not creating any sound at the camera.
The camera has now become unusable although the timeline is showing 'Netatmo Presence connected'!
What's your solution to fix all those broken outdoor cameras, Netatmo?
Update: I‘ve ordered a new SD card at Netatmo, but waiting for it since 15/01/2025. Today on 27/01/2025 I got the information that I can pick up the parcel. I will let you know if the QR code is recognised after replacing the SD card.
I have had enough!
Both my cameras will now be taken down and replaced with Arlo Pro 5 - which are both better and cheaper!

Here are so many costomers with Problems after the Update to 3.22.0
My camera doesn‘t work, too, since the update in November 24.
One of the Service helpers wrote me via Email, that my Camera is out of guarantee, so my Camera is now garbage. Netatmo: Seriously???
Same problem with me. Two Netatmo Presence outdoor cameras. I still have all the QR and HomeKit QR codes, I have successfully factory reset them. I can reinstall them ... but I don't have any video feed. I even replaced/upgrade my wifi installation (after the problems started) to check the wifi connection to the cameras better, but it doesn't help.
Mind you, my Netatmo indoor camera works fine in the same wifi router as well as the smoke alarm.
I cannot believe that two Presence cameras not located near each other, not even on the same wifi hotspot suddenly die. 99.9% sure this is software related.
I agree with you 100%. This is a software issue and Netatmo need to step up and fix it.

Changing the sd will Not fix the problem. I tryed 5 different types of sd cards.
Hello - my outdoor Cam shows me only the pic of last saturday. There are no new actions recorded and no live pictures available. I can turn on / off and turn on/ off the led light too. I have powered off the cam too. It is new connected, but no changes to the discribed problems. What can I do?

yes - I saw that here are much issues but less solutions.
I will try to reset the SD Card and then I will open a ticket for Netatmo.
Code is 1008 when I try to go to live cam or play recorded videos.
