How to replace a Smart Thermostat with a Smart Modulating Thermostat

Today we’ve completed the installation of a new Intergas Extreme36 heater with a Smart Modulating Thermostat. This replaces my old Smart Thermostat Nefit HR++ combo. What should I do with the smart valves that are still attached to the old smart thermostat in the old app?
