My thermostat work but lcd is not visible. Can I buy a new thermostat stand alone? Or i must buy all kit (relé etc..etc..) Is possible to buy thermostat stand alone ? A new thermostat and old relé can work together? Exist spare parts for lcd ?
I have a similar problema weith 2 thermostat units.. they run out of bateries and now i replace at both units the baterries without any lcd dispays change.. Any ideas what to do? All i get is an empty battery display at noth units, with new batteries of course.
I get a problem with the display too.
Same problem for all of us
And for me! Wish we'd kept the unreadable thermostat which at least paired with the app and boiler properly. Don't get a new one!
Update!
I fitted new a lcd in wall thermostat but could not get it to work for some reason.
Purchased a complete new kit from Amazon Resale Store for around £75. Installed it easily enough myself but took a bit of fiddling around to get my smartphone to sync with the receiver. All fine now🙂. If you happen to have a boiler and controls maintenance plan with British Gas I understand that the thermostat is covered !
