Doorbell stopped working after power outage
After a power outage in my location, the smart doorbell stopped connecting to the network. I tried the reset procedure, but when I mount it on the wall again after a while the led is glowing blue, indicating the issue with chime modul configuration. However, nothing has been changed.
When I unmount the doorbell and plug it in to the power supply via USB cable, I am able to pair it again with the application, but when the doorbell is mounted where it is supposed to be, it does not work.
May it be that the chime module is broken?

After some additional tests, I discovered that in fact the led indicated issues with internal battery. I manage to disassemble the doorbell unit and found out that the internal battery was broken. It was completely inflated and not functionning. As the Netatmo service is not responding to my support tickets, I decided to replace the battery on my own. It's a 300 mAh 3.7 V unit with standard 3 cables wiring and plug. I ordered such a battery online. Let's see if the replacement will help. Anyway, I am dissapointed by the level of service provided by Netatmo (or in fact not provided).
Hello,
I have the same issue with the orange indicator keeping glowing.
Could you finally get a replacement battery and make it work? If so I'll try to do the same.
Thank for your help :)
It's a 300 mAh 3.7 V unit, but I had to replace the new battery electronics with the one taken from the old battery. Like a transplant. After that, the doorbell properly recognized the new battery and is working fine since then.
Thank you for the feedback.
I'll probably try the same. I guess it will be some soldering work :) If I manage, I'll add pictures here.
I've found the procedure
