Smart Thermostat set up
Hi, further to my earlier e-mail some months ago;;I have been using a thermostat for about 10 years, no issues. some months ago the thermostat was dropped and became unreadable, however it still worked via the phone app.. yesterday things stopped working. Having already purchased a new unit , I decided to fit the new unit. The relay and the thermostat both are working, but I cannot marry the new unit to the wifi or get the app up and running, any advice/help please. new unit serial number ga0e738 Lyn Dunstan

I've had exactly the same problem. Two different engineers have tried to get the new one paired to my app and boiler without success. We wish we'd kept the old unreadable one, which worked OK apart from not being able to read it!

I changed my router and now I cannt connect to the thermostat from the app. This is an awful system. I feel like I'm battling with it the whole time. I think it would be easier to re-install from scratch but I dont have a process to do this.
