Disable doorbell to ring on my iPhone
There is already a post with the same subject but I find the answer very disappointing and the post is already closed for replies. Therefor a new post.
Since today I receive a phonecall from my doorbell every 30 minutes. My wife is a pedicure and receives a new customer every 30 minutes.
I don't accept the answer that this can't be switched off. My phone rings even though I switched off the sound!! This is unacceptable.
Add this to the fact that the doorbell disconnects every now and then and this makes me switch to an alternative. Although I like the design and idea of the Netatmo very much.

This response from the Netatmo team makes me wonder if anyone there is actually using the doorbell themselves - if they were they would have known what a downgrade this is. Unbelievable that they cannot give us the option to choose for ourselves. I am done with Netatmo products now, first they never delivered the HomeKit secure video for storing recordings which was promised, and now this. Disappointing.
Time to look for another brand people.
This doorbell has always been a pain in the arse.
And now this being forced on us and not even a proper reply here says it all.
Their product and customer service is not up to standards.
I have to say this ring feature has had a hugely negative impact, rather than a discreet notification i can choose to ignore, whatever i am doing is put on hold for a phone call. Yes I can reject it but it is a disruption, nuisance and isn’t required. It is so bad that I can’t imagine why anyone would want it as a regular feature (the only possible use I can think of is that someone is expecting a visit that they cannot under any circumstances miss, and are in a part of the house where they can’t hear the physical doorbell, but even then i would expect the car majority to turn it off after). I had been planning to get a whole Netatmo Security environment with the CCTV Cameras also but not being able to turn off this feature will make me go elsewhere. It’s ruined what was otherwise a product i was really happy with
Yes, it’s annoying. Please make it optional instead of the default!
This feature is indeed horrific. I have been enduring it for a few months now, but today my irritation has finally reached a breaking point. So I decided to switch it off. I’ve been trying for a few hours, first digging around in the Security app and iPhone settings, later looking for an answer online—being certain this must be possible—only to arrive here to find out it is factually impossible! The situation in my household is rapidly approaching unlivable if this barrage of unnecessary calls continues much longer.
Hi all, I gave up and bought an Aqara doorbell. Also homekit and working like a charme. A couple of things are worse than netatmo but overall I’m pleased to have replaced the netatmo doorbell.
Well you have not understood that Netatmo cannot disable this, because it is part of the "user experience". Just read all the comments of users, that greatly enjoy this new feature and that Netatmo talked to before implementing it. If you can't find these comments anywhere you just haven't looked thorughly enough.
I’d love any other recommendations for a smart doorbell. Never been happy with the Netatmo due to delays in microphone connection and of course I still feel cheated regarding the Apple secure video compatibility. And now with this forced calling that interrupts work calls makes me really want to smash this thing but then I think of the 270 euro I paid for it and then it think it would be a waste. This week mine seemed to lose its configuration and setting it back up has cost me more than 4 frustrating hours. I would not recommend this device to anybody. In 4 years I have not once had a happy experience using the video/audio answering facility while friends and Neighbour’s happily use other brands to immediately answer calls. I deeply regret buying Netatmo.
Please add an option to choose enable or disable the call in the app!!!

I am indeed able to turn this off now and am so much happier with it - so much better! I have even bought a couple indoor cameras since I have been able to turn off the calls!
