How to remove Air Quality Monitor from Healthy Home Coach

  Hi Lukasz,

  You can remove the product from your Netatmo account in your Home Coach application.
  Click on the burger menu (top left) > advanced settings > select the product > users > click on the bin icon next to the account in order to remove its access to the product.

  I am planning to purchase a Netatmo Healthy Home Coach (Smart Indoor Air Quality Monitor) as a second-hand device.

  The issue is that the previous owner is unable or unwilling to remove the device from their Netatmo account, and I understand that a factory reset alone is not sufficient because the product is cloud-bound.

  Before completing the purchase, I would like to clearly understand:
  1. Is it possible for Netatmo Support to transfer ownership of a Healthy Home Coach to a new user if the previous owner cannot cooperate?
  2. What information or proof is required from the new owner (e.g. serial number, MAC address, photos, proof of purchase, written declaration)?
  3. Is there an official procedure to release a device from a previous account and attach it to a new Netatmo account in such cases?

  I already have other Netatmo devices on my account, and I want to make sure the product can be fully and permanently linked to my account before buying it.

  Hi michaelpavelka91,

  If you purchase a second-hand product (not reconditioned by Netatmo) from an individual or from a distributor, the product may not have been reset. In this case, it will be automatically reset during its installation via the Netatmo application in order to erase any possible trace of a previous configuration.
