Valve eating batteries so fast

santiago.marco.c
Lately some of my valves are eating the batteries in 15 days or less. This is not acceptable. Is there any solution for this?

I just bought a replacement valve, but I'm having the exact same issue. The two sets of batteries included only lasted four days each. To make matters worse, I couldn't find a support phone number, email or chat to ask for help...

To be frank, I'm really disappointed. I invested in 11 valves (this is a lot of money) , and most of them have issues, either constantly losing temperature calibration or eating batteries super-fast. And Netatmo does not seem to care too much about providing any update/solution to the reported problems. At this point, I would not recommend Netatmo Smart Valves.....

Had same problem last season, fixed after switching to ENERGIZER Ultimate Lithium LR6 AA. They have higher default voltage 1.7V.

Valves are still losing calibration randomly every 3 months (open 100%), but re-calibration is fixing the issue on same batteries.

Also in one valve i had to put aluminum foil strip to fix bad contact between batteries.
