Firmware Update for Outdoor Module?

I've reported issues with my (newly replaced) outdoor module not connecting to its base (New Outdoor Module keeps disconnecting from the Base Station) and now I see that the current firmware version for that module is 53. However, if I remove the batteries and restart the module, it reports as firmware 14 first, then eventually jumps to 50. How do I get it to 53?

I understand this is supposed to happen automatically, but seeing as it doesn't, is there way to push this update? And will it help with the issue linked above?

    Alright, so it seems there's no way to manually update the firmware on the outdoor module. So here goes a request for feedback from the community:

    • could anybody, who has the same issue with the outdoor module, confirm their current firmware version? As mentioned, mine is 50, but should be 53, according to Netatmo.
    • could anybody, whose outdoor module has firmware version 53 confirm that they don't have any connection issues?

    With these two questions answered I can comfortably wait until the firmware is automatically updated.
