Since your Relais is connected to the boilers power supply, it also restarts when you power cycle the boiler, right? Have you tried only power cycling the Relais to check if everything works again...

Check the battery compartment for humidity, maybe the batteries got shorted out. Hardware defect would be another possibility.

This boiler uses EMS as its BUS protocol, not OpenTherm like the Netatmo Modulating Thermostat. There are EMS to OpenThem converters out there, but I can‘t say if they work properly or not, sorry.
