Yep, the product is almost entirely abandoned. It's not clear what will happen - I guess new companies offering heat pumps will replace it and boilers entirely over the next 10 years.

Not sure (as it just worked for me), but if you can't get Homekit/iOS to work, Android uses a completely different method to setup the relay, so maybe you can do it from an Android device.

The APi is really good and works, so if you're a programmer or have access to one you could code a special application that allows that control.There's no built in way.
