Indoor camera power off
Hi,
I have indoor camere wich power goes of in about 30 minutes.
Message INSUFFICIENT POWER SOURCE.
I have original power source.

Hi, same problem: after about 30 minutes the camera goes off with message insufficient power source. Original power supply
I thought my original power supply died two weeks ago...
So i bought a new power supply and threw the old one away.
The new power supply has 5.3VDC 3.5A...
This is more then sufficient...
But I get the same error...
Maybe the old power supply wasn't dead... It looks more like a software problem in the new firmware...
What is the rating of a "sufficient power supply" according to Netatmo?
The original one was 5Volt 2Amps.
It feels like a software driven marketing trick...
Got same problem here.
I bought my a year ago, same thing brought a new power supply with a higher amp.
It runs for a few hours and after that error "insufficient power supply"apears.
It's shameful that after years they haven't updated the firmware to eliminate the lockout due to insufficient power when the power supply was absolutely adequate. I replaced four original power supplies because after a while they stopped working, and even very powerful third-party power supplies still send errors... shameful, I'll change the system.
They like counting money. Much more better then fixing bugs
They are the first which will be replaced by AI 😅
