New Outdoor Module keeps disconnecting from the Base Station

roger

After my old/original outdoor module "died" (battery short out due to water getting in), I yersterday received a new one. Connection worked great and the module immediately started showing a connection and eventually temperatures, too. However, after a few minutes it disconnects from the base station.

I've moved its location several times (even though the old one worked fine from where it was) and same game: first a connection, then briefly a temp, then nada.

I see that this is not an unknown issue, but what is the solution?!

Any help is appreciated.

@Support: this has to be related to the fact, that the replacement outdoor modules are reengineered from the original ones. Is there some sort of incompatibility issue, which might be fixed with a firmware update or the like?

I'm not buying another replacement module ... this one IS the replacement module. So, however do we fix this?

    Thanks!

OK, folks, here's an update for all those of you, whe have a Homey or Homey Pro installed. I've found that my outdoor module won't "talk" to the Netatmo app (iOS in my case), but it will do to the Homey Pro I have installed. Homey Pro has an app for Netatmo that works well.

To me, this would indicate some issue between the outdoor module and the Netatmo app, which may be caused by the firmware version on my outdoor module. It's been "stuck" on 50 for the past two weeks, while v53 is the current one. No sign of an automatic update, yet.
