    I am in touch with Netatmo who tell me that my thermostat needs repair. They have offered to do this but I have to send it to France and find another way of controlling the heating whilst it's away...

    Did you have "heating prediction switched on? I'm suspicious that this was causing the issue. I've now switched mine off.
