Thanks to your Dropbox storage space, you can use your personal Dropbox account to automatically back up the videos recorded by your Camera.

 

As with notifications, you can choose the categories of events you want to back up. Note: If you decide not to record certain events on your products, they cannot be backed up to Dropbox. So, make sure to check your settings by going to Home + Security then Settings > Alert and recording settings, before configuring your Dropbox backup.

 

Dropbox storage does not replace storage on the microSD card. All videos continue to be stored on the SD card, while those you have chosen to back up to Dropbox (in the app settings) are automatically sent to your account.

 

If a video has been sent to Dropbox, a Dropbox icon appears on the full-screen video player of the Home + Security app. Tap the icon to open the video in Dropbox, even if your camera is offline.
