Configuration with an Android phone
- Activate the cell phone's Bluetooth.
- Connect your mobile to the Wi-Fi network that you intend to use for Smart Indoor Air Quality Monitor.
- In the app, on the drawer (the icon at top left), go to “Install a new Smart Indoor Air Quality Monitor.” Then follow the instructions.
When you configure Smart Indoor Air Quality Monitor with a smartphone, Smart Indoor Air Quality Monitor is powered using the provided adapter and the smartphone is connected to Smart Indoor Air Quality Monitor using Bluetooth. You need to have your phone’s Bluetooth turned on. To turn on Bluetooth, please go to your phone’s settings menu.
WARNING: When you configure Smart Indoor Air Quality Monitor with a smartphone, the product must be powered at all times with the provided power adapter. Using a third-party adapter may damage Smart Indoor Air Quality Monitor. Powering Smart Indoor Air Quality Monitor via your computer’s USB port will not work.
Configuration with an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch
- Activate the cell phone's Wi-Fi.
- Connect your mobile to the Wi-Fi network that you intend to use for Smart Indoor Air Quality Monitor.
- In the app, on the drawer (the icon with 3 lines at top left), go to “Install a new Smart Indoor Air Quality Monitor.” Then follow the instructions.
When you configure Smart Indoor Air Quality Monitor with an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch, Smart Indoor Air Quality Monitor is powered using the provided adapter and the smartphone is connected to Smart Indoor Air Quality Monitor using Wi-Fi. You need to have your phone’s Wi-Fi turned on. To turn on the Wi-Fi, please go to your phone’s settings menu.
