Connect Netatmo Thermostat to Nu-heat NeoAir

pajeffery

I currently have a Netatmo Thermostat and a number of Netatmo Smart valves - We're now looking to install underfloor heating as part of a ground floor extension and I'm trying to understand the wiring so that the Netatmo thermostat and underfloor heating are compatible with each other (Just to caveat I'm definitely not going to be doing the work, its something my builder will be doing - But I just want to be knowledgeable).

The Nu-heat NeoAir has a wiring panel that connects all the controls, as far as I can tell the Netatmo thermostat connects to this wiring panel. The wiring panel has a Live, Neutral and Earth which makes sense, but my confusion is the other terminals, there is a single cable from NO on the thermostat to S/L on the wiring panel. There is also a cable that runs from COM on the thermostat to the Live terminal.

The Netatmo thermostat should plug into TA', 'Ls-Lr', 'RT', 'T1-T2 - Are these terminals the same as the COM/NO? Or are they completely different?

Thanks for any advice/guidance

there is a single cable from NO on the thermostat to S/L on the wiring panel. There is also a cable that runs from COM on the thermostat to the Live terminal

When the thermostat turn „on“, it bridges the two wires running to NO (normally open) and COM internally, meaning a connection between „S/L“ and the live terminal is established.
The Netatmo Thermostat also has 2 connectors on the back that do the same thing, as do the black and grey wires of the Relais installation cable.

The Nu-heat NeoAir is also just a battery powered thermostat. Do you want to replace that one or hook up the Netatmo Thermostat parallel?
