Adding the thermostat to the iOS app

l.kuczynski

Hello, I have a Netatmo thermostat with a white LED. I had to perform a factory reset.
The HomeKit code that appears on the display does not work.
I don't need to add the relay to HomeKit. The Energy app on iOS requires adding it to HomeKit.
How can I use the native Energy app on iOS without adding the device to HomeKit?

    Hello,

To skip the Homekit association, you have to install your Thermostat with an Android device or a PC.

Also, please let me remind you a few guidelines mentioned in this article

It is regrettable that no one from Netatmo has responded. I experienced the same issue!

Netatmo seems to desire a HomeKit integration which, unfortunately, does not exist. After numerous attempts, I found the following solutions:

    1. Download the "Control" app and try using that.
    Or
    2. Use an older iPhone/iPad and install the previous version of the "Netatmo Energy" app. This solution worked immediately for me.

The support from Netatmo has been quite disappointing!
