The new web interface is as buggy as hell Answered

massimo.macucci

The new web interface is absurd, and it behaves differently depending on the browsers! On Linux with Firefox the graphic elements are not correctly displayed, they are replaced with rectangles containing FX YZ, where Y is a number and YZ are characters different for every graphic element. Still on Linux, with Chrome I see the graphic elements but I am told that there is no device associated with my account!

On windows, with Chrome I can see my devices, but, as in all other cases no "My Devices" tab is present and it is impossible to know the charge state of the batteries.

Now I have no idea how to figure out the state of the batteries, because this used to show only on the now unusable web interface, and I have never been able to see it from the Android app.

This is absurd: I now have to go on the roof for some other task, but I am  not able to know  whether the battery of some device need replacement.

If they do not fix this broken web interface or go back to the old one I will throw all the Netatmo stuff in the garbage can.

Shame on Netatmo!

    Hi Massimo,

I invite you to take a look at our article about the Webapp explaining the reasons why we had to change the platform: WebApp: a new redesigned interface, find out what is changing and why

We are not able to reproduce your issue on Linux, and it is strange that you get different behaviors on different browsers. First, please make sure you always log in with the same Netatmo account and in the same virtual home.

Please note that I have just created a support request for you, so that we will be able to investigate the issue and report it to the relevant team. We would like to get more details from you, please reply to our email, we will be glad to help!

    Have a good day
