windows Modul Manger shows only message - check your internet connection Completed

stefan
Windows Module Manager starts and gets stuck with the message ‘check your internet connection’ and doesn’t proceed. I’ve tried it on Windows 11 and Windows 10. The PC is directly connected to the router, no filters, no active firewall, and Windows Defender is disabled. The large module is connected to the PC via USB cable. Do you have any other ideas?

    The Windows programs don’t work.
The weather station also doesn’t allow me to register the new additional module because the touch on top of the module is disabled by support. So currently,

I have no chance to register the new module.

I’m curious when support will get back to me. Maybe I should send the module back to Netatmo France. What are you meaning ? ThX

Hi. All programs for Windows are not functional. They still require an internet connection. These are programs for the indoor camera, for the weather station and for the thermostat.

    Hey @Giada!
Could you elaborate on the alternative way to use the module manager?

Oh man, I bet the developers are having a stressfull time! @Giada tell them to keep up the good work! I really like Netatmo and I am looking forward to using it longer (when I finally manage to get it again up and running).

Hi, my wind gauge died recently and I purchased a new one.  Now I am unable to uninstall the old wind gauge in order to install the new wind gauge. I have tried the NetatmoModulesManager_Windows.exe and like others have posted here it gets stuck with the message ‘check your internet connection’ and doesn’t proceed.  I have also tried to uninstalled via the iPhone app but that is not working either. The step that displays the list of modules for my station always comes up empty.  There is a big blank empty white box below the text “Select an Accessory”.  Thus I cannot select the Wind Gauge in order to delete/remove it.  I have 3 indoor modules and a rain gauge and all of them are working properly.  Is there anyway to uninstall my broken wind gauge so I can add a new one?

You been trying to fix a bug in Netatmo programs for a week and they still don't work. Is Netatmo bankrupt and has not paid the administrators of these programs? These programs seem unable to connect to the admin servers.

@Giada , Can you please address and/or update us on the issue that multiple people seem to be having with respect to adding/removing modules from the main station.  Neither the Netatmo App or the NetatmoModulesManager_Windows.exe program seem to work anymore.

Hello, unfortunately, I have not yet received a new version of the Windows app! However, I was able to integrate my additional sensor after the support reactivated the touch button on the weather station. This button had been deactivated centrally by the support team. This was once a request of mine, which has now been reversed.

@Stefan, can you please elaborate on the steps you used to add a new module? As for reactivating the touch button, this must have been affecting only your station?  I am pretty sure my touch button is working as it has been responsive throughout all my efforts to remove and add a module.

The touch button only affected my station, as it wasn’t working. I took my iPhone, restarted the station, and went directly to the ‘Add’ section in the iPhone app. I selected ‘New Sensor.’ The station immediately lit up blue, and I saw the additional sensor displayed in a window. I was able to select and add it from there.

Thanks @stefan, in my case I need to remove a broken wind gauge module first before I can add the new one and all I get is a blank screen on the “Select an Accessory” page.  After waiting for several minutes I cancel and then I get a message stating that 'could not find your product after several attempts'. I'm still convinced that this is not an issue on my end.  There is something wrong on the Netatmo side. This used to work just fine until recently and I have not changed my home network configuration in years.
