Cameras not working across two different properties

Dids
I have 4x welcome cameras without siren across two properties, two at each property and one property has an additional smart door doorbell. Whilst the doorbell is working, all the 4x Welcome cameras are not, saying “Video unavailable. The camera is disconnected”. Why are they suddenly not working, some central system failure for Netatmo? No changes to internet and had been working successfully for months prior.

My out door cameras freeze constantly and say that the camera is disconnected. Recorded video it doesn't work anymore. Both cameras have the new SD card.
I’m using a Mesh system router with automatic recognise devices bands. The second camera is new and only connected for 3 days ago.
I wonder what the problem is?

I have been having the same problems for years, actually since I started purchasing them. I purchased 5 outdoor cameras, 2 indoor cameras, plus a siren and other stuff. They just suck compared to anything else I have ever purchased. I have submitted multiple times and honestly do not expect to get a call or response again. I can’t afford to purchase another camera system because I spent all I could with these products. I am so unhappy I can’t even explain it, how could a company selling higher end products not have technicians to help. I may possibly be not getting results from not reading all the articles, I have tried everything, I mean everything. I upgraded our internet to the maximum, I just recently had all my mesh NetGear units hard wired (4 of them), at the same time I had all the TVs, sound bars, and all PCs hard wired to take away from bandwidth. I first spent thousands with Neatamo, then I spent thousands having my house hard wired (thinking the cameras don’t have enough bandwidth). I’m am so done. I could have gotten another brand camera system (like I have with my business, 33 cameras there, no issues, different brand) but I spent the money on hard wiring everything possible in my house. I just want to talk to a technician, that’s all I want. I have been struggling with these pieces of crab for years now and I truly am tired of resetting and powering down them every other day just to get 3 out of 6 cameras working, I’m done.
I can not believe this brand is still in business, I now think I know why, you can’t talk to a technician and if you submit anything negative it gets thrown out. There is something wrong with hat business model and I am now going to seek a professional to figure out my options. I am not a mean person, in fact quite the opposite. I just do not understand why I am going on 3 years without any help, like none. Three years of being pissed off is not good for my or anyone’s health and something needs to be done.
Again, I have bragged about the cameras when I started with two, then I added many more, and there is no other way to put it than they just suck, suck, suck. I can’t afford to buy another system and we do not feel security in any way at our home.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE call me. I can’t handle this anymore, I just can’t believe these products are out for people to purchase. In fact I believe they were at the Apple Store at first, which is what I wanted, to work with our Apple ecosystem.

I ended up replacing the smart doorbell with the Netatmo one, although it was just 3 years old, was out of warranty, and beyond Netatmos expected life for it! I bought the new Hue smart one as I have all their lights, and it works perfectly. I have additional Google Nest cameras instead of Netatmo and they work seamlessly, so I will change all Netatmos to Google Nest or Hue. I have fixed the Netatmo several times, but only by changing the SD cards and using more gel for protection, otherwise even factory restarts and other fixes aren't enough!

    Dear edkahn

So sorry to hear this frustration and despair 🙏

Have you checked out jo online comment in problem with the home security application discussion ( regarding using an and droid phone to set up ?)

I bought a t p link router basic model and use a sim only card with it to set up a floodlight cam with siren  . It uses less than 1G per month It had teething issues relating to the sim card but since tweaking the settings as per online discussions , it has been working fine .

I also use the blink doorbell and camera system which has been a blessing .

The N floodlight presence was mainly for spying on wildlife crossing the driveway and checking if my cat was up to mischief or waiting to come inside. I do miss it as a motion sensor light at my main home now it's gone offline.

I really appreciate what you just said, are you with Netatmo? I am a genuine easy to go person, 99% of things do not bother me. But chasing tech support for a couple of years now changed me. My predicament is I kept buying products from that crappy company because it was supposed to work with the Apple ecosystem. I feel like such a dumb ass now for continuing to purchase these products. We just finished remodeling our home and I had stucco work and of a lot of things done to our house, like stucco around the 4 outside cameras, then of course we painted the exterior. So now I have to worry about if another brands cameras will cover those areas. Netatmo just is awfull, it blows my mind that they can keep selling products and not getting into trouble, I just don’t get it. This is absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with in regards to customer service. WTF? I’m trying to control my anger, but I have been rebooting, turning off breakers, trying to get real help, for over 2 years now and I am done. I will figure out a way or find some other product that will work AND fill in the square that is needed for the pieces of crap. Again I’m trying to not go the direction of insanity.

    No I'm not with Netatmo - I was / am a fan
( ...only have 2 x Floodlight presence . One is connected and one disconnected or kaput after electrician messed up fuse box 'repair' )

I monitor this community page in case I can find a helpful tip , plus I like to help with simple stuff as I know how frustrating it must be to ask something and not get any responses . Unfortunately I'm not v tech savvy and do not use HomeKit

Cleaning the microSD cards and slopping on some silicon grease used to work for me : then the camera would miraculously connect a few weeks later .

Maybe we should all write to the CEO who is on linked in or complain on the security app review so apple can feedback to the developers or company.

Anyway hope you get something sorted as a replacement .
