Connection from the Synology Server to the Camera Netatmo Presence can not be established
I have a Netatmo Presence Camera und a Synology DS723+ .
In the configuration for the camera are all Parameters (Client id, client_secret a.s.o) No IP Adress is necessary.
By press the Tryingbutton i get the message: Connection from the Synology Server to the Camera Netatmo Presence can not be established

Hello! The last answer is about a month old.
What about the solution? Why do i have to search in Forums just to find out the API is blocked? Why don't you at least send an email to the users to inform them, that they can stop trying to connect the Cam again and again? Does Netatmo think, that we have nothing better to do in our spare-time? It doesnt work for months now! Then just put it back to the state before, at least it was working then.
So: is there a solution, or is the only solution to sell my cam on ebay and buy another one, Netatmo?
To be honest, i will do this soon, i already have two Reolinks, they work just fine, without any need of this API-Nonsense you need with the Netatmos. I will wait another couple of days now, but i really dont want to use the Netatmo Cam anymore by now, even if you might fix it soon. They are just to expensive, to let them hang on the wall when they dont connect properly to my NAS.
Why should Netatmo care about its users? You have already bought their camera (so they already have your money)... That said, I have posted my solution about 10 days ago:
Synology has released an update to Surveillance Station today (to version 9.2.1-11380), which seems to have fixed the Netatmo connection.
It's been recording now for the full 10 days without issues.

I still have issue with all the update (DSM, Surveillance Station and DevidePack). For me, the issue isn't solved.

It works with the synology Update. But you have to search and install it manually, and delete and re-install the cam afterwards. So you will loose all your settings. Also it Arens to work only for a few Hours the. I had to restart the cam. Thanks for nothing, Netatmo.
Here it works fine after the updates and a restart of all systems. No problems yet
Update :
After revoking access of the app on the netatmo account, renewing the ID and secret clients and redoing the installation of the cameras, this finally worked... During 1 day !
It has been worked during 1 day and since today 12h00 all is again down...

The same thing happened here.
NAS restart and all cameras are offline again. I can't create a new APP either.
VLC continues to work without any problems. Same ID etc.
What I don't understand is why does the VLC with the video stream continue to work with the same access data?
Is this a local stream or is the API queried from Netatmo?

How do I access the local stream?
I have the ID of the camera and I can access the image via VLC. But not with the local IP, nothing opens.
e.g. http://111.111.111.111/ID/live/files/high/index.m3u8
It works with https://prodvpn-eu-2.netatmo.net/111.111.111.111/ID/live/files/high/index.m3u8.
IP addresses are examples!

Local access has never worked
It was now possible to create a new app, which was not possible last week.
It now works with new IDs. Let's see how long.
It was possible to re-install the cam and set up a new app. But the can disconnects about 3-5 times per day.
I already bought a new cam from another brand, which lets me save the stream without any of this crappy, not-working API-nonsense and the Netatmo cam is now on eBay. Very sad, but it’s the only way to have a reliable system.

I think we need to take stock.
Since the incident was resolved a few weeks ago, everything was back to normal after reinstalling the cameras in Surveillance Station. Everything worked, everything was stable.
For a week now, the connections have been dropping and I am constantly restarting the cameras. I don't think it comes from Surveillance Station because I have the same problem with Enki app which is a home automation application.
Have other people noticed instabilities?

I was able to restore the connection a few weeks ago but it is very unstable.
Unfortunately, being tired of having to restart them constantly, although they were working well before the incident, I decided to sell them and replace them with a nedis camera (wificol20bk)
The connection is stable and I can receive the ONVIF stream, directly on it, without going through a cloud

Unfortunately They do not do anything at Netatmo. I have now a Reolink cam and it works just Smooth. I loved the Netatmo Cam, because it was compatible with Apple HomeKit, but if it doesnt work, it makes no Sense to use it any further
@aptran35 forget about Netatmo and move forward to "real" IP/Onvif camera like Reolink, Annke, Dahua, Hikvision, TP-Link, Imou, etc....
